AOC Gaming Monitor: Presenting Latest 44.5-Inch Curved Monit

Experience Immersive AOC Gaming Monitor with 240 Hz Max Rate

AOC's Agon Gaming Monitor

AOC is gearing up to release an impressive 44.5-inch OLED AOC gaming monitor. Display Specifications recently revealed details of the AOC Agon AG456UCZD, including a remarkable 240 Hz refresh rate, vibrant colour gamut, immersive 800R curve, and lightning-fast 0.03 ms response time, adding to its already exceptional OLED features.

Encountering a monitor as large and expansively curved as AOC’s Agon AG456UCZD is a rarity.

This 44.5-inch display, with its 800R curvature, is designed to provide an immersive viewing experience, particularly when sitting at a standard desktop setup with a chair and desk.

Furthermore, the Agon’s 240hz monitor offers an interesting feature with its LightFX module, which can emit ambient lighting at the back of the screen.

This module supports an impressive array of up to 100,000 colors and 14 distinct light shows, as reported by the source.

For those intrigued by what’s been mentioned so far, there are even more impressive features. The OLED panel delivers 10-bit color, covering 98.5% of the DCI-P3 color gamut with a Delta E<2.

It achieves a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and a peak contrast of 1.5M:1, as per the available specifications.

Additionally, the monitor holds TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Hardware Solution Platinum Certification, includes flicker-free technology, Eyesafe Display 2.0 certification, and features an anti-glare, low-reflection coating.

The monitor also excels in performance, showcasing its impressive gaming capabilities through the outstanding 240 Hz refresh rate and lightning-fast 0.03 ms response time.

Furthermore, we anticipate a comprehensive range of Agon gaming features integrated into this monitor, including FreeSync Premium, minimal input lag, motion blur reduction, shadow control, hardware crosshair, frame counter, gaming genre presets, and flexible configuration options through AOC’s G-Menu interface.

Pixel Density Falls Short..!!!

240hz gaming monitor

This new AOC monitor’s pixel density may be a drawback. It provides 3440 x 1440 pixels across its 44.5-inch screen, resulting in a PPI of 83.80.

To put it in context, this is only slightly better than a 27-inch FHD monitor with 81.59 PPI.

It appears that this monitor shares the same panel as the LG UltraGear 45GR95QE and the Acer Predator X45 OLED, given the striking similarity in their specifications.

Connectivity Aplenty

Beyond the impressive display, the AOC Agon AG456UCZD offers a range of robust features.

It’s equipped with a KVM Switch, catering to multi-system users and ensuring uniform brightness control.

This monitor supports Picture-in-Picture (PiP) and Picture-by-Picture (PbP) modes, which are perfect for multitasking.

In terms of connectivity, the KVM enhances versatility, featuring two HDMI 2.0 ports, a DP 1.4 port, a USB Type-C port with 90W power delivery and DP-Alt support, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-B port, and a headphone jack.

Additionally, the monitor comes with built-in stereo 8W speakers.

The Agon AG456UCZD includes a fully adjustable stand, allowing swivel adjustment within a range of +/-15 degrees, tilt from -5 to 15 degrees, and up to 100mm of height adjustment. It’s also compatible with VESA mounts (100 x 100).

As of now, details regarding availability and pricing for the Agon AG456UCZD have not been released. AOC is expected to provide an official announcement soon, and a reasonable estimate for the price is around $1,600, similar to recent Acer offerings.

A dedicated product page for the Agon AG456UCZD is not yet available on AOC’s website.
